Wimberley Wellness is such an amazing therapy practice. I’ve been working with Alex for about a year and a half now, and he’s truly been what I needed to move through some challenging transitions and process deeper emotions. The space itself feels so welcoming and comfortable, which makes it easy to open up. Especially as a man, finding the right therapist has always been tough. Alex is perfect for exploring men’s mental health struggles and practicing new ways of being. He has a rare balance of empathy and challenge. He has met me exactly where I was when I started, pushed me when I needed it, and helped me recognize strengths in myself I didn’t know were there. I’m really grateful for the work we’ve done together.

Sometimes life hits you with a ton of bricks. This time I didn’t have the strength to dig myself out. I signed up online and wasn’t sure what to expect. Shanna called me prior to us actually meeting ( which I thought was perfect) and I immediately broke down. How can a person that you’ve never met before, give you a feeling of safety? I attempted therapy before this and it was a no for me. Because of Shanna’s professionalism, I look forward to our sessions. I blame her for the confidence that I have now.
