Iris is an exceptional grief life coach who helped me immensely during a difficult time. Having lost my mom a few months ago, I was struggling to navigate my emotions. From the moment I started our coaching session, Iris exuded warmth and empathy, making it easy for me to open up. She displayed a genuine interest in understanding my story, validating my feelings, and creating a safe space for me to express myself without judgment. What truly stood out was Iris's insightful perspective on grief. She emphasized that grief doesn't adhere to ordered stages or phases; instead, it's a fluctuating journey that varies for each individual. Her words resonated deeply when she reminded me that there's no time limit on grieving our loved ones. This acknowledgment helped alleviate some of the pressure I had placed on myself to 'move on.' During our conversation, Iris praised my courage and strength, which was incredibly affirming. One particular moment that left a lasting impact was when she said, 'It’s so important for parents to break the cycle of generational trauma and prioritize self-care. The buck stops here.' This powerful statement not only validated my struggles but also empowered me to prioritize my well-being and model self-love for future generations. Throughout the session, Iris emphasized the importance of self-care and self-love, encouraging me to prioritize my own needs during this challenging time. Her guidance has been invaluable in helping me navigate my grief journey with compassion and resilience. I can't recommend Iris enough to anyone seeking support and guidance through grief or life's challenges. Her compassionate approach, insightful wisdom, and genuine care make her an exceptional coach. Thank you, Iris, for your unwavering support and guidance."

After losing my husband in May of 2016 I was very distraught, depressed and in general lost. I blamed myself for Bill’s death. I believed I did not do enough to save him. The guilt was unbearable. As I was scrolling through Facebook, I came across Iris’ widows’ group and decided this was what I needed to help me understand and deal with my grief. This was one of the best decisions I ever made. Hearing Iris’ story and that of so many other widows helped me put in perspective my overwhelming guilt and grief. The support I received from Iris and her monthly coaching group, as well as the larger FB group, was truly lifesaving. I have been able to move forward with my life and find happiness again.
