Thriveworks Counseling & Psychiatry Miami

Extremely disappointing and deeply concerning experience. My wife and I made a very intentional decision to pursue couples therapy, understanding how important consistency, trust, and communication are in mental health care. Unfortunately, Thriveworks failed on all fronts. On the same day, we experienced multiple provider no-shows with no advance notice and no timely follow-up. We were left sitting in virtual waiting rooms for extended periods with no communication. After explicitly stating we were no longer interested in rescheduling, an additional appointment was scheduled without our consent, which is unacceptable. This goes beyond inconvenience. People seek therapy during vulnerable moments. Repeated no-shows, lack of communication, and unauthorized scheduling reflect serious operational failures and raise real concerns about client safety and trust. While individual staff offered apologies, the issues were clearly systemic. Based on our experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering Thriveworks to think carefully before relying on this platform for mental health care. Definitely look somewhere else.

My therapist Guolnissa is the best therapist I have had. I have been going to therapy for years and never had a therapist who asks the right questions to get me to open up and think about the issues I need to talk through. I highly recommend this practice.
