I've been in an out of therapy for 15 years and various seasons of life. It feels good to have found a therapist who is a collaborative and engaged guide in my mental health journey through healing and building healthy behavior patterns. Thank you Olufemi for seeing me and guiding me to self love and acceptance. 10/10 starts if I could.

Olufemi has lost her way because she does not value her clients equally. First, like many others, it took courage to speak about my issues and she glossed over them. Then, on my final session, she had a couples therapy session before me which went over several minutes and then she used the restroom before my session (understandable) and so we began our session 10 minutes late. at the X:55 mark she abruptly cut me off and stated that we need to wrap up. I pointed out that it hasn't reached the hour yet and we began 10 minutes late anyway to which she replied, "sessions are really only 50 minutes anyway." At that point, since she had brazenly given some of my time to the couples' session (more $$$ for her time) and was rudely cutting mine short - not to mention without having given me any advice or consideration the entire session - that I realized that she does not value her work. It is not appropriate to make clients beg for the time that they pay for. Her clear apathy towards patients are compounded by the fact that you can hear everything that is said in therapy from the waiting room (I have heard a lot from that waiting room, even trying to tune it out). Finally, this flippant disregard for me compounded my trauma and it has taken months to try and find another therapist, which I would not have the strength to consider if it were not for my partner. In conclusion, if you seek therapy from Olufemi then you're rolling dice as to whether you're a favorite of hers or not - I am not certain what it is like to be in her good graces but be warned that being outside of her graces will leave you feeling judged and guilty and you will wish you had never sought therapy to begin with.
