After knowing Laurie Poole professionally for several years now, I can say with fervor that she is astounding with the couples she works with. Laurie is a patient, eloquent, and empowering therapist. She meets her clients at whatever stage they are at, but lights the way to deeper, meaningful, and secure connection to couples that have lost their way. I very much value being able to send clients to Laurie because I know they are in good hands. The feedback I get about Laurie consistently sounds like "we are better for having met her". Thank you, Laurie!

My husband and I initially went into The Montfort Group for couples therapy. Not because we were considering divorce, not because we has major issues… simply seeking a third party to help us communicate better. We were able to step back and see the roles we had taken as husband and wife and what we did and did not like about them. To learn to express feelings more clearly and to communicate better. How to parent our kids better. How to be a better team. And it wasn’t long before I realized many of the pains on our marriage arose from my personal struggles due to my childhood. Before I knew it I was seeking individual therapy several times a week. Montfort was not my first attempt at therapy, but the first place that really felt like HOME. I truly believe ANYONE can benefit from therapy, but I also believe THERAPY IS NOT ONE SIZE FITS ALL. I have found a place where my entire family has benefited; wether it be from couples counseling with my husband, individual therapy for myself, trauma counseling with my father and even play therapy/parental counseling with my daughter. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE MONTFORT GROUP!
