I haven’t been here in 3 years and they’re calling me about medical debt I don’t have. This place is a sham, there are better options with facilities run by professionals. The doctors are fine, it’s the woman who owns and runs this business that’s the issue.

My experience with Mind, Body Consortium, specifically Maureen Darling, was unacceptable and profoundly disturbing. A critical medical form was completed and submitted stating that I had “NO qualifying conditions,” despite Ms. Darling having direct knowledge of my medical and clinical history. This determination was made without consulting me, without performing an independent assessment, and without verifying the accuracy of the information submitted. I was never contacted—before or after—regarding a decision that directly affected my care. Notably, Ms. Darling also concurred with another practitioner to add multiple new medications without discussing the matter with me, without hearing my account of what occurred, and without engaging in any collaborative or informed decision-making. As a patient, I was excluded entirely. As a licensed mental health practitioner, I found this approach reckless and clinically indefensible. This was not a misunderstanding or a minor oversight. It reflected a pattern of dismissiveness, poor clinical judgment, and disregard for patient involvement in care decisions that carry serious consequences. Compounding these issues is the chronic failure of this practice to return patient phone calls. Messages go unanswered. Follow-up is nonexistent. There is no apparent urgency or accountability, even when matters are time-sensitive and impactful. Due to these serious concerns, I terminated Ms. Darling as my practitioner and secured care elsewhere. My trust was completely eroded. If you are considering Mind, Body Consortium, understand this: your voice may not be heard, your records may not be handled with care, and significant decisions about your treatment may be made without your involvement. I strongly urge prospective patients to think carefully before entrusting their care to a provider who demonstrates this level of disregard for communication, accuracy, and professional responsibility.
