Stephanie Hartselle MD of Hartselle & Associates

I can't praise Dr Stephanie Hartselle enough. I have never met a more caring, empathetic, intelligent and creative MD. I have never met one that came close. I have been taking anti-depressants since 1995. I have never felt enough of a connection with, or respect for, the psychiatrists who prescribed these for me to want to see them more than once every 3 months for checkins. About eight years ago, when the medications I was taking stopped having the intended effect, I sought out her help. She ran a complete genetic screening, determining the best possible matches, and we worked together until we found the right combination. For the first time ever, I felt I would benefit from talking with her on a regular basis, and have been doing so for the past eight years. She seriously cares, she seriously thinks, she responds in real time. I can depend on her for creative comments on deep and difficult questions. These are not boxes that I have ever checked with the MDs I've encountered in any aspect of my health, mental health, of course, being the most challenging. Medical schools do not turn out people like this very often, and they should be treasured and honored.

I have been in the medical field for many years now, and I do not exaggerate when I say that Dr. Hartselle is the most talented, caring, and dedicated psychiatrist I have ever encountered. Simply put- she changes and saves lives.
