Do. Not. Go. Here. They are unethical, greedy, and rigid. They just want your money and have absolutely no regard for humanity. Aside from the fact that the counselor wasn’t great and told my daughter who was sexually assaulted to “detach from her body” and provided little guidance beyond that, my daughter then got in a serious car accident and obviously missed her appointment THAT DAY. Even though she called and gave proof of her accident occurring that day, they have been relentless on trying to obtain her late fees. They have gone so far as to take her to court over a few hundred dollars. Meanwhile, their yearly revenue is over 20 million dollars. To claim that this establishment is providing any mental health benefit is ironic at best. They are taking advantage of people who are struggling, preying on their instability in order to gather fees. Save yourself and find a better practice.

My son was canceled after I refused to pay a 100 fee for a missed appointment due to illness - he threw up on the way to his appointment. All I wanted was a call from the business office, and got no response. Anyone considering counseling should stay as far away from Richmond Creative Counseking as possible. The BUSINESS office staff policies are uncaring and cruel. Be warned!
