I’ve been coming here for months and I’ve seen so much improvement within myself and situations that arise in my life. I feel like Megan M. truly cares. I always get excited to talk to her with each session coming up and feel like I could talk for hours like I’m talking to my best friend who will never judge me but non biased and with professional advice, valid inputs, and educated perspectives that is needed. This place genuinely impacts my life and will continue to do so. I am beyond thankful to have found this place randomly and will always recommend it to friends and hopefully strangers reading this :)

Was good at first, but then life happened and my car broke down and I didn't have a ride to Kansas for my session (I live in blue springs). I called the day before to cancel my appointment and when they called me back the next day, they said that they wouldn't cancel it because I didn't call and give 24 hours notice. My appointment was at 3p.m. Saturday, I called at 5p.m. Friday when my ride canceled on me. So they want to charge me a missed appointment fee of $100 over a 2 hour technicality. I have been going through probably one of the worst times of my life with my car breaking down (going to cost $3500 to fix it and I don't know when, or if, I'll even be able to afford to fix it), and having to move unexpectedly so money has been very tight. This place didn't care and just seemed like they wanted to make money off my misfortune. Very disappointed because we loved our counselor, but them not being more understanding is extremely disappointing. I will not be able to afford to pay that extra $100 plus what I pay for the sessions so now my kids and I sadly won't be able to return. It's not my fault that the ride I set up waited until after 3p.m. to tell me they couldn't take me and that no one else wanted to spend their Easter weekend Saturday driving me an hour out to Kansas and back, 3 hours total with driving both ways plus waiting the hour while we were in our session. I tried but they didn't care. Very disappointed with how this was handled.
