Im not sure if any of the people who left reviews were the parents or the actual patient, but I had a terrible experience with Dr. Monsoor as a now adult who was her patient for 5 years. I hate to leave bad reviews but she was my psychiatrist from ages 14-19. I was put on SSRIs at 14 which I should not have been because I was not depressed, I have severe ADHD and that should have bee addressed first. I was then put on an absurd amount of adderall, which I somewhat understand but from 15-16 I was taking 30 mg/daily and I was a zombie the whole time. My depression and anxiety symptoms continued to get worse and worse and every appointment with Dr. Monsoor and I continued to express this. She did nothing about medications and I stayed on the same thing for years when I was begging to try something else because I was so mentally ill. She also told me i had borderline personality disorder as a 17 year old which is absolutely ridiculous. I continued to express my debilitating anxiety and that my medication was not working and she did nothing about it, until she decided (4 yrs later) to double my lexapro dose which actually was the worst thing she could have done for me, this sent me into a spiral. I was given a recommendation by a friend to another psychiatrist in the valley and guess what! My first appointment I was given new medications (that worked) and they actually listened to me. Also have been told by two psychiatrists that I indeed do not have BPD, and that you should not even be given that diagnosis until you are an adult. I Just wish that Dr. Monsoor would have actually listened to me and not only cared about money. I don't recommend sending your child here.

Doctor Mansoor is the best. I cant tell you all of what I have been through with horrible doctors & medications. When I found Doctor Mansoor referred by a friend it was an absolute Godsend. She really cares and puts her heart in her work. She is available anytime which is great for me if I am having a bad day. Highly recommend. Symptom free for over a year because I was blessed to be her patient and she never gave up on me.
