Wonderful experience! Julianna Rollo was who I seen and she was exceptionally nice and helpful. She educated me on things pertaining to my care. She was very encouraging and made me feel better about being able to get help with what I needed. She had lots of compassion and truly made me feel like she cared for my health.

I first did telehealth with PsiMed in 2022. I saw Hillard Brown, who was decent. We decided ADHD meds were too dangerous due to my health issues. Scheduling through his nurse Caitlyn was a nightmare. I recently tried them for talk therapy. Intake staff swore that with my Medicare and Medicaid, there were tons of providers to choose from and they'd match me with someone fitting my needs exactly. I did intake with Melinda Himsteadt and she was utterly awful. She treated me like a child who couldn't advocate for myself without going through her first. I have multiple physical and mental health disorders. Some I can't afford to formally diagnose, but after decades of research I've had to self-diagnose to get help—which has literally saved my life. When I do see specialists, I'm usually correct. Yet Melinda forbid me from researching anymore, saying I had to go through her. She kept talking over me, acting like I don't understand the difference between ADHD and trauma. Instead of asking why I thought I had ADHD, she assumed I couldn't understand such things. I explained that I know the overlap between autism, ADHD, and PTSD, and after years have determined I have all three. She kept acting like I couldn't know this. But Hillard Brown said I most likely had ADHD and was willing to prescribe Strattera. I just couldn't afford the $400 formal diagnosis, and we ultimately decided Strattera was too dangerous with my blood pressure issues. Melinda never asked—she just assumed she'd decide if I had ADHD and whether I needed meds. It became highly problematic that she kept insisting I go on meds. I told her numerous times that every ADHD med on the market was too dangerous for my body. When I began discussing my blood pressure issues, she talked over me to say she has high blood pressure and takes ADHD meds so I can too. I want holistic ways to deal with ADHD, not to be forced on meds that my previous PCP and a NP already decided were too dangerous for MY body. I mentioned I currently have no support systems because most people here are too unhealthy and I don't tolerate that. She interrupted again to tell me people with ADHD have trouble forming healthy relationships because they're viewed as blunt, and maybe I need to work on that. I was floored that without knowing my relationships, she automatically blamed me. I have a bad binge eating disorder and was proud I'd been 35 days no sugar. She praised me because she couldn't get over her Dr. Pepper addiction. I said ice cream was my biggest weakness and I'm sad I'll never have it again. She interrupted yet again to tell me I could have it in small amounts. Sugar is a legal drug—would she tell a heroin addict they could have a little? I called to see someone else instead of Melinda. I was then informed they actually only have 2 providers taking Medicare who accept new clients. I haven't heard back about scheduling with anyone else. So many lies. So much incompetency. Don't go here if you want to get healthy.
