Deciding to do ketamine treatments can be a scary step into the unknown: what’s it going to be like? Will I be uncomfortable? How will I feel afterwards? PPS is both grounded in the science and protocol of this remarkable treatment for depression and PTSD, and the staff is warmly human and caring to normalize the weirdness of doing a drug with an outdated stigma. The treatment rooms are not clinical offices, but rather comfy and cozy and creatively beautiful. The environment is conducive to the healing that happens, and the staff is both professional and nurturing. I am immensely grateful for this resource in our community, and would not hesitate for a minute to put loved ones in their caring hands.

I have been seeing Brooks for 4+ years now and it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that she’s saved my life. From my very first appointment I have received personalized care. She listens to my concerns/symptoms and offers solutions, both medicinal and holistic, traditional and non-traditional. I have never felt judged or ignored and she understands the nuances of serious mental disorders. She’s been there for me during a crisis and for all the stable, maintenance sessions in between. She is brilliant, kind, incredibly knowledgeable, experienced, empathetic and passionate about her job. She has advocated for me and educated me on helpful resources (i.e. tenant's rights, navigating paid leave, the best lint rollers for cat hair). She has been a cornerstone in my journey to not just find stability, but to build a fulfilling life. Which unfortunately is not always the outcome for people in my position. I wish this kind of treatment was the norm for mental health care, but seeing as it isn’t, I feel incredibly grateful that I have Brooks on my team. 11/10
