Dr. Nioka Smith Counseling

I am truly grateful for Dr. Nioka and the talent that God has given her. I started seeing Dr. Nioka in February 2025. She immediately seen a lot of anger within me, and taught me how to handle it, through prayer. I was in one of my toughest times Dr. Nioka working with me, talking to me, she praying with me, the homework assignments. I feel better than I ever felt. She’s real, and going to tell you the truth and hold you accountable, but there’s also no judgement. I’ve only been with her for a short time but feel like I’ve known her for a long time. She has truly helped me. The one thing that she told me when I first started meeting with her is that I had to want to do the work and I did. As you can see in my picture, she gave me an assignment to post scriptures, words of affirmation etc. to my bathroom mirror and I’m continuously adding to it and going over it on a regular basis. I recently lost my job while Dr. Nioka was away and taking her time off that is much deserved and needed. I feel like with prayer and the tools that she gave me, I am truly okay. I’m happy, uplifted, smiling, laughing, now a hugger 🤣🤣🤣🤣 and spreading the gospel and sharing my testimony every chance I get. I know she’s private pay (but she has options) and doesn’t accept insurance but it’s worth every penny. If we can buy a house, car, get our hair, nails done then we can pay for our mental health. I completely and totally recommend her. I can’t wait for my next appointment with her. I thank you and am truly blessed to have you as my counselor.

Dr. Nioka is kind and compassionate. She truly lets the love of Jesus shine through her. I love that she relies on God to bring the healing only He can. She also gives many practical tips and advice to help you navigate life in the meantime. She has helped me tremendously and picks up on underlying emotions easily to resolve all concerns fully. I love my visits with her!
