After calling 3 mental health crisis numbers, I was referred to Nexus of Hope. I made an appt for my adult son who was going through a mental crisis. When we got to our scheduled appt., they said there was no appointment made. Apparently they have people making appointments remotely and this particular one didn't finish the job. I was patient (barely, because a mental health crisis is pretty serious). We made an appointment for the next day. On our way to that appointment (20 mins before the appointment, we live 30+ mins away) I received an email cancelling the appointment. If you or someone you love is struggling with mental health, you know it's not easy to get them to agree to be seen. Twice these people disappointed me and left us in a mental health crisis. I DO NOT RECOMMEND going here. They clearly DO NOT take mental health seriously nor have the resources to help you. This is actually how suicide happens.

I found great help at Nexus and will continue working with them in the future. I’ve had some concerns that others brushed off in the past but I was able to get help at Nexus that has improved my quality of life.
