I highly recommend Neurodiverse Counseling Services to anyone who identifies with the neurodiverse spectrum and/or LGBTQIA+. I reached out originally by email 4 months ago asking who would be the best fit. I quickly got two recommendations. I arranged to have a 15 min free phone consultation with the recommended counselor. I have been meeting with her weekly virtually ever since. When I mentioned that weekly doesn’t feel often enough she didn't hesitate to increase to twice a week. She really listens to understand and customizes our treatments to my needs that week. I have been in and out if therapy for 20 years. If you haven't found the right fit yet, don't give up. I'm 34 years old, I feel like I finally found a counselor that actually hears and sees me. She is helping me understand how to function and communicate in a world not made with my neurotype and sensory processing issues in mind, accept myself as I am and process past traumas.
