Mandy Carr Counseling, LLC

This was our second time working with Mandy for my daughter. We first worked with her for over a year at least 6 years ago after my daughter needed behavioral therapy. At the time I thought that Mandy was great. My daughter was getting the help and support she needed, and Mandy was also a great support and encouragement for me as a mother. She was always culturally sensitive in a great way (we had lots of good laughs), but she always went out of her way to provide me with the extra information and resources to keep on improving as a parent and be able to support my daughter with her own challenges. Fast forward to this past year, I contacted Mandy again after my daughter received a second diagnosis. Mandy was able to work us in her schedule, and again we received the same sweet and attentive care as before. It was great to be able to reach out to a therapist that you have history and rapport with, and I think that my daughter also benefitted from sessions with her again as well. Overall, if therapy makes you nervous and you're feeling unsure, Mandy is an excellent provider. She's kind, attentive, responsive, and honest as well! She's not out there to keep you in therapy forever, and if she doesn't feel confident in her ability to help you, she is very honest about it and will even reach out to her fellow colleagues to get you the care that you need. She's great! I mean, I hope we don't need to utilize her services again, but if we had to, I definitely would reach out to her again!

When I tell y’all Mandy has been the best person I’ve ever worked with! Mandy is such a kind soul who really sits and listens to you without judgement and provides such an amazing insight. I’ve been with her for about 2 years now and she’s actively helped me learn how to manage my emotions better and how to deal with things. 10/10 if you ever need someone that really understands you, can connect to you on your level and has as much empathy as you need Mandy Carr is definitely the go to!! 💙
