Dr. DeShields is an incredible therapist if you're struggling with burn out (who isn't these days!) or anxiety. She is very skilled at helping you to figure out not only the cause or root of your burnout and anxiety, but practical and grounded solutions for getting out of it. I appreciate her approach to helping clients to accept the changes and curveballs life throws at us and to find solutions to problem solve what can be solved. She is very attentive and intuitive and I value her guidance and insights.

Katie brings such a warmth and compassion to her work. I highly recommend her if you are struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, and people-pleasing. Her work is collaborative and helps her clients break old patterns to build a life that works for them.
