You have to use their terrible website before they will call you. The website form is 9 pages long and glitches, having to start over again several times, plus put in credit card information. It took 2 days to complete this and when you have mental health issues, this is a real struggle. The front desk staff ladies socialized loudly rather than maintaining a professional respectful atmosphere when I arrived. Some of the MHNPs and the doctor doesn't file insurance, and are cash only. They also charge a hefty fee to file FMLA and STD paperwork. When I did my intake session, the intake therapist was nice, but charged me $200 to ask me some of the SAME questions from the 9 pages I filled out online. When I spoke with a Psychiatric nurse practitioner, she was curt and seemed annoyed, asked me same questions but in greater detail that I already answered for an hour, then...... referred me to another provider! So for four days time, 2 appointments and $200, I got referred, not helped. I do not recommend this practice at all! In contrast, Three Oaks warmly answered the phone, booked me for in-person intake and insurance review, with a real person. I then had several weeks of intensive therapy, some of the best I've had in 30 years, with a team of fantastic therapists I highly recommend Three Oaks. In conclusion, don't waste your time and money on Jackson Psych.
