Had gone through two counselors through Intentions. The goal was for pre marital counseling as neither me nor my partner are religious. Neither seemed very helpful for what me and my partner were looking for however it was more of a wrong fit than anything the counselors had done. We had a session planned and a few hours before the session we received an email that we were being terminated as clients however they would still honor our last session. While that is well in their rights to discharge us we did ask in a follow up if we would be penalized. We had received a reply of "thank you for letting us know." My partner had then emailed back asking for clarification and had never received an email back.(Which we never received an answer for) She then emailed Rachel to follow up on the lack of communication. (If this is where the story ended we would have given 4 stars) Rachels response was was the absolute most unprofessional experience I have gone through. She had responded with gaslighting my partner into the unproductive sessions being her fault. That she took too much charge and would never let the therapist talk as they were unable to interrupt her and that she was controlling the entire sessions. None of which was true. I believe i may have talked more in sessions than my partner. The response from Rachel stated that she was all about transparency and authenticity however the remarks in her email were not authentic at all and to talk about transparency when we never had our question answered! The response could have been a simple "I apologize for the lack of response. No you will not be charged for the session. I wish you best in your endeavors!" Rachels professionalism is the pure cause of this bad review. For a mental health provider to straight put blame on their client is absolutely ridiculous. One email away from a positive review... P.S. Very exited for her to respond to this telling me my perception is off. If that is the response to everything maybe you should reflect on why that is your go to response. Maybe its your perception.

Rachel denney chased me down in her vehicle in a road rage incident & proceeded to beat on my window at an attempt to break it(then tried to claim I caused physical injury with insurance) putting me through an extremely traumatic experience as I was picking up my daughter from school & had me terrified for the well-being of not only my child but all the students there because of how she decided to handle her anger. She will make claims that my insurance took fault in the incident but I have proof that she changed her story several times & that our insurance is still battling it out. Court dismissed all claims she made against me, just concerning that a therapist of all people would have this type of character & according to multiple past coworkers this is not new behavior of her.
