I was referred by my GP to Dr. Shoaf, who has been kind and makes relevant suggestions during our visits. I have very neutral opinions on him. However, the rest of the staff at this establishment is extremely rude and unprofessional. I have been nothing but polite, kind, and respectful to both the office and phone staff but am almost always met with passive aggression / hostility. Today I received a phone call at 5:02, called back at 5:03, and my call was routed to the answering center. When I explained I was returning a call I had received just 30 seconds prior, the woman I spoke to was quite condescending and rude in telling me I needed to call during business hours. Brenda has also been very harsh when I have called to schedule / reschedule / confirm appointments. I would think that in an establishment that is designed to help people going through serious issues, that the staff would be much kinder and more patient in their interactions. I will likely seek out a new provider moving forward. There is one receptionist who has been extremely helpful in our interactions. I don’t remember her name - but this review is not directed at her. It might be Joy.

We have loved our experience with Dr. Tom Shoaf, and one of their counselors, Tiffany Wilkins! Dr. Shoaf has vast expertise in neurology that has been so helpful in our family care along with his psychiatric care. And Tiffany has been such a support in her patient, sincere counseling especially with trauma.
