As a non profit organization, it's important to work with organizations that share the same concerns. As I began to plan a workshop for mother's, I came across Healing Spaces. I reached out and magically everything fell in place. The workshop, led by Dr Jackson, was consistent, productive and a means to celebrate. The women that participated in this year's workshop have already asked that Dr. Jackson/ Healing Spaces- return for another workshop. From day one, the HS staff and Dr Jackson have delivered professional services. They love what they do, and it shows.

Dr. Kezia Jackson and her team at Healing Spaces provide a rare and much-needed service for a community that is often overlooked in mental health circles. They offer assessment, clinical treatment, and psychiatric services—and most important of all, an inviting and understanding therapeutic atmosphere—for Black and minority communities. Dr. Jackson's warm and welcoming demeanor and quick laugh make every visitor feel immediately at home.
