Coaching with Heal and Thrive Psychotherapy & Coaching gave me the tools I was missing. Therapy helped me talk, coaching helped me change what I do. When I started, I was juggling college and adult life and felt stuck. Traditional therapy did not give me skills for my neurodivergent brain. Coaching did. I learned to notice my impulse and negative thought loops, pause, and choose better actions. We broke down past moments so I could see why I reacted the way I did. That made it easier to handle hard situations and feel more confident around neurotypical people. I also built real self-awareness. I understand my brain now. The tools help me plan my days, follow through, and keep energy for what matters. The exposure work helped me face things I kept putting off. I leave sessions with simple steps that change my daily life without feeling drained or stuck. Five months in, I think and act differently. I am kinder to myself, more steady, and moving forward. Before I found Heal and Thrive, I was stuck in a cycle of trying every ADHD strategy out there: calendars, body doubling, scheduling without much success. Working with Roos was a different experience. He didn’t try to change how I operate, he helped me understand why my unconventional methods actually make sense for me.
