I am so beyond grateful for Dr. Crayne! She has honestly changed my life! Being a 33 year old woman with a late diagnosis; my entire life has honestly been hard! Dr Crayne is very easy to talk to and so understanding! She makes me extremely comfortable to be honest about things! She works so hard to figure out what is best for you! The staff is so friendly and laid back! If I could give 1 million stars I would! Forever grateful for focus MD!

I feel like I kind of have my life back after finding this office and getting their help. After calling around and being discouraged at the costs involved to get tested and have an initial consultation (I do not have insurance), I finally found this office. The prices are less than half of what I had been told from other offices. I remember tearing up, thinking I might finally have a chance to feel normal. I filled out their online new patient paperwork (super easy), and I'll admit I didn't hear back from them right away (they are busy, its true), but after a couple days I just rang up the office and the front desk employee answered, she was very nice, she said she had my paperwork right next to her and we could schedule right then. Now, when I scheduled, they were already 6 weeks out for new patients (and that was last year), so I imagine the wait time now is longer. We went over exactly how much everything would cost, when it was due, and she answered any other questions I had. When it came time for my appointment with Dr. Crayne, I found her to be very friendly, very relaxed, she did not make me feel like she needed me in and out (despite how busy she is), and I found her very willing to hear me. And what I mean by that is that yes, she is the doctor and she has the test and knows how to interpret it and she knows all the signs and symptoms of ADHD and of course she knows about all the medicines, but she knows that I know my mind and my body and how I'm feeling. And I had done extensive research before coming in, trying to figure out what was wrong with me and how I could maybe fix it, and she was very open to hearing all this. She never got offended if I brought up something I had read. She never acted like she knew better because she was the doctor. I found her to be much more of a partner in trying to help me. We went over medications, she helped look up prices at local pharmacies so I knew what I was walking into when I went to get my prescription. Overall, I felt very listened to and supported. I finally have an expert in ADHD validating all the pain I felt in my brain and guiding me through the medication process, but more so at my side it seems. I hope others have a similar experience. I read one review where someone said she switched their meds too often, but I doubt she forced anyone to switch meds. That doesn't seem like something she would do. If she switched them, she had the consent of the patient and it was for a reason, one they discussed most likely.. There are SO MANY different medications for adhd. So if there is any negative side effect to one, then there is a different one you can try, and why wouldn't you. Until you find one that works best for your body and brain.
