It feels quite unethical to have pediatricians that do not have thorough psychiatric training diagnose people with complex psychiatric disorders. Yes, psychiatric disorders are partially within the scope of pediatricians, but the extent to which this practice “runs with it” is borderline ridiculous. You guys are doing Alabamians a disservice by providing subpar psychiatric care—the sad part is that many of them may never realize it because they put their trust in you wholeheartedly.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting FOCUS MD clinic for my child who has special needs, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we walked in, the front desk office staff greeted us with warmth and professionalism. They were not only knowledgeable about the services offered but also went above and beyond to ensure that we felt comfortable and got what we needed. The clinic's approach to caring for special needs children is truly commendable. The staff listened attentively to our concerns and took the time to understand our child's unique needs. They were patient, empathetic, and showed a genuine interest in providing the best care possible. It's rare to find a medical facility that not only meets but exceeds expectations in such a compassionate and competent manner.
