Updated: Being medically gaslit publicly fully supports my initial review. I have time-stamped texts directly from Soufyane showcasing that I showed up in office at correct day/time AND time-stamped messages asking if Soufyane was still planning to show up for our last virtual appointment that he blew off, as well. He only reached back out to me once review was posted to entice me to take it down. I am still, as of yesterday, being charged random $50 no show fees by Elite Psychology, despite cutting all ties to this provider and practice months ago. The greatest red flag here that shows me this provider is out of integrity and was not at all safe for me to personally work with is the full denial of his actions or mistakes, even with undeniable time-stamped proof, and the covert, politely-packaged gaslighting received instead of this medical professional taking any sort of responsibility. A deeper dive into reviews from previous city shows this is a pattern and not specific to just me. Please do your due diligence if reading my reviews - taking nothing at face value from either me or provider responses - but don’t outright dismiss either. Mental health is too important to trust someone who may not be a consistent or safe space to turn to. - Soufyane Bourass was absolutely wonderful when I initially switched over to him almost two years ago. But he has become incredibly unreliable and has left me hanging for weeks without ADHD meds on multiple occasions. The longest was 10 days. Even after our paid monthly sessions, he continues to ignore my texts and follow ups when his refills don’t get sent or don’t get approved, and today, he never showed up for our appointment. It’s been three hours and he’s made no attempt to contact me, but he never makes any attempt to contact me. I once sat in the waiting room for him for over an hour, he walked out into the reception area and started watching tv, even though I was sitting two feet away. While I understand scheduling mistakes, both myself and his front desk called him multiple times so he knew I was there. It’s passive aggressive, and his behavior has become increasingly disturbing. Ultimately, it’s not just negligent, but dangerous to repeatedly drop the ball like this as a medical provider. I’ve been respectful, I’ve always paid (self-pay), I’ve been consistent — but even if he doesn’t agree with that or is just too bombarded with caseload, it’s NOT my responsibility to get my nurse practitioner to follow through with their job. I just spent three hours researching for a new doctor and securing another appointment elsewhere, and I really feel inclined to report Soufyane to the medical board. I first gave him a rave review too, so please know you might start with a five star experience, but eventually be left without receiving the care you desperately need and have paid for. If anyone else reads this and has had similar experiences, I deeply urge you to speak up.

I am a patient of Dr Bourass and I have to say he is the best medical provider that I have ever had. He listens, understands and helps you. Not only that but he is the only medical practitioner that replies to messages quickly. I am very lucky and blessed that I found him. If you have any mental health conditions please see him.
