Eden Valley

I’ve been struggling with my mental health for a long time & I finally got the strength to find help, when I discovered Eden Valley it seemed perfect for what I needed & I emailed them to get the process stated. Well 5 days later (the website says they always return messages with in 2 days) I finally got my reply, a short cold message telling me they couldn’t help. I was heartbroken & being rejected like that only made my depression worse. What kind of mental health professional just turns a person away who's coming to them desperately seeking help? They could have at least met with me in person, or even called me to get more information about my situation before they dumped me & made me feel like I was just far too messed up to be helped. I was honestly shocked & hurt by their lack of empathy, this is NOT how a mental health facility should ever treat someone suffering from severe depression with suicidal thoughts. After this rejection I’m really not sure if I’ll be able to get the courage to seek help again & if these dark thought in my head do win one day I will make sure to thank Eden Valley for turning me away in my time of need.

I have been working with a clinician at this practice for going on four years now. I am always treated with dignity and respect and I have received the most excellent counseling from my provider. She has seen me through the deaths of two family members and I honestly do not know what I would do without her services. Eden Valley has also made interns available to help me with some of the processes and organizing in my life that I need to do. I am so grateful to have found such an amazing fit for myself.
