Divya Dodhia, LCSW, ADHD-CCSP - Teen and Family Therapy in Jersey CIty, New Jersey

I have been listening to Divya’s lectures here and there for years. Our kids are similar age so the topics are in line with what my parental needs are. Her method very much echos respectful, loving, disciplined parenting which creates a calm environment and a trusting relationship between parent/child. I do not use the therapy offered, but should I need it, I would use only Divya. I wish I could have heard more throughout the years…

I attended Divya’s workshop on Executive Functioning for teens at the library and came home with so many practical tips! Divya suggested putting a whiteboard and dry-erase markers above my son’s desk so he can keep track of homework, chores, sports, and social commitments — done! She also recommended switching a teen’s Apple Watch to an analog display to help them better understand the passage of time (such an elusive concept for teen boys!). Overall, it was a great workshop on helping kids become more organized and efficient. Highly recommend!
