Dauntless Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)

About 5 months later and I can certainly say TMS changed my life. The staff at Dauntless was a huge part of that change. I went to every session alone, but the staff always made me feel supported. I actually looked forward to going in each day even though the pulses were uncomfortable at the beginning. We had about an hour to talk every day for 7 weeks. They were cheering me on not just in treatment, but also in my career, personal relationships, and even checking in on goals I mentioned during sessions. And Megan decorated my treatment room with party streamers for my last day! My comfort was always their priority. I passed out from anxiety during my mapping session (happens frequently unfortunately, and I was having a rough day beforehand. Nothing to do with the process itself) and Abby immediately had a fan blowing on me, ice packs, and water and chocolates from the break room. It was the best response to one of my episodes to date and without any warning. Luckily we got the worst out of the way that first day, and things have been steadily going up ever since! TMS Therapy is life changing and has changed 20 years of mental illness into a life of limitless possibilities. My experience after the first treatment was very eye opening literally and figuratively. Colors were more saturated, overall light was brighter and thus life itself was more inviting. If you have had mental illness, or know someone who suffers, set up an appointment, it'll be worth it, I promise.
