I went here looking for psychiatric care as someone with severe, lifelong mental health issues, and right away I felt like I wasn’t being taken seriously. During the intake interview, they kept pushing therapy on me even though I was clear that I needed a psychiatrist for medication management. When I explained how serious my condition can get, the interviewer became awkward and dismissive. I was then asked to sign a ton of legal agreements and upload a lot of identity documents, which I did. After that, I was basically ghosted. Later I got a message from someone else saying my proof of residence wasn’t good enough—even though it’s good enough for the State of Ohio and the federal government. The whole experience made me feel judged and disposable, like they’re not used to dealing with people who have more serious conditions and only want “easy” cases. The lack of communication and constant push toward therapy felt uncaring and could honestly make things worse for someone who’s already struggling. It felt more about paperwork and money than actually helping people, so I’ll be going elsewhere.

I’m writing as a referral partner, and I can confidently say this practice is one of the strongest clinical teams in the area. Their group of therapists is incredibly well-rounded, there is a modality and specialty for every type of client, and I’ve consistently been impressed with the depth and breadth of their clinical expertise. The founder, who is also a practicing clinician, is communicative, supportive, and truly wonderful to collaborate with. He leads with clarity and compassion, and it shows in the way the practice operates.
