I guess this is partially my fault as I didn’t do my due diligence but this is the only psychiatric center I’ve ever seen without an on call. My aprn cut my prescription by more than half and then went on vacation. When I started feeling awful withdrawal symptoms I called and called trying to get an appt to no response. When I finally got through and asked to see someone, I was met with. “Aprn X is your assigned provider, we are not a crisis center” and then directed if it was that bad I should go to the er otherwise I had to wait. No timetable given, irresponsible on many fronts. The funnier thing is I left this practice and informed them, but they didn’t let the aprn know I had done so as she texted me as if nothing had happened a few days later trying to book an appt

I can’t give them a review based off of their treatment (they could very well be great once you get in) because after a week and a half and several phone calls, I can’t even get past their voicemail of which I left at least two. I understand there is a waitlist, but since it is hard enough for most people to even reach out for help with their mental health, the least they can do is return phone calls/voicemails. At the very least return the phone call/voicemail, verify that they received it, and tell each person their place on the waitlist and approximately when they can be expected to receive treatment. If that timeline doesn’t work for the individual then they can try elsewhere in the meantime, but not even returning the phone call(s) is unacceptable in my opinion.
