Dr. Katz seemed very kind and sincere when I met him, but his assistant was the worst! I have never dealt with such a rude, argumentative, shyster of an assistant before. Perhaps, a DEI hire, either way, I am finding a new doctor because of Dr. Katz staff and will NOT be referring anyone to his office. My experience with staff: - I was told they accepted my health insurance (is accepted), yet I was charged full price with no help or assistance from billing. Paid over $500 for a visit and now I have to deal with insurance claims directly. - I called to request a refill Friday morning at 9 am, before 10 am per their voicemail, yet 48 business hours later, still no response or update from his office. Technically, a refill request was made 4 days ago on Friday morning. It is now Monday evening, and there is still no request at the pharmacy. - I called the office a few times this morning to confirm they received my request. However, the only way I could get through to speak with someone was to block my phone number from their caller ID. In return, the assistant was extremely rude and said it now takes over 72 hours for refills, and I need to wait another day, even though medications needed to be refilled last week. That does not matter to his staff. - A couple of months ago, I tried emailing the staff to confirm if they received my medical records, however, the staff blocked my email and never responded. These were just a few of the issues dealing with this office. It's the worst experience I've ever had. I highly recommend seeing another doctor unless Dr. Katz finds an experienced, professional, and skillful office staff. Until then, there's plenty of other doctors in the area that offer the same services with less stress and headaches to deal with.

Dr. Katz has been extremely helpful! His office is easy to work with, and he has been very responsive and supportive throughout the last two+ years as his patient. Between regularly scheduled appointments and as-needed requests, I have had a great experience.
