I found my experience with Jasmine to be incredible and worth the investment. Our initial meeting I was advertised a free information session, I believe on Facebook. This was several years ago. Jasmine spent a lot of time with me explaining the different services she provides, including ADHD neurofeedback. She has a couple of kids with ADHD and they found it to be really helpful for focusing on school and elsewhere. During the session she gave me a free sample session with her neurofeedback machine. I believe it consisted of a mesh cap with some attached sensors to my forehead and earbuds. I was to focus my mind to help merge two sounds I was hearing in my ears. I clearly didn't pay much attention to the instructions as I did the opposite 😅 Jasmine was puzzled by my results until I explained what I was trying to do by focusing on the wrong sound. Ultimately I chose to purchase a package of 3 hypnosis sessions. I believe it was about $450 and it was well worth it. Jasmine is extensively trained in hypnosis and I had a great deal of trust in her. I have been to different therapists, including emdr therapists, who I felt were less skilled and less trustworthy. I don't believe I went into deep hypnosis, or perhaps hypnosis at all (I haven't been able to start to get in that state with other experienced therapists). But I found her insight and advice during the session incredibly helpful and relaxing. She did not try to forcibly direct me towards thoughts or actions, instead encouraged me to consider rethinking my interpretations of past events in a wiser and more generous way. The other thing I still draw on from my hypnotherapy sessions with her are the eft tapping techniques. She showed me how to tap on various spots on my face, head and chest while repeating the mantra "even though I fear___, I love and respect myself". As a lifelong learner and seeker of self-help for anxiety and other issues, I am so thankful to Jasmine and brain mind wellness for effective techniques. I have tried many different modalities and these ones really worked. I would encourage brain mind wellness services to anyone looking to work on changing subconscious thoughts or who are seeking non-medication options for mental health. Medications work well for the brain chemical aspect, but these extra interactive and proactive services are a great compliment or substitute if ADHD/depression/anxiety/insomnia meds aren't helping with the self-talk/focus or aren't helping enough. I highly recommend Brain Mind Wellness and plan to return for other cognitive services in the future.

I've had several therapists over the years, but Niina is unlike any other. She provides a safe environment with which to heal and is not only kind and compassionate, but keenly adept at treating core issues. Her methodology is uniquely superior to anything I've experienced before, and while I believe both Neurofeedback and Emdr have helped me, the psychotherapist is a key aspect of the benefits they offer. I highly recommend Brain Mind Wellness if you're seeking any positive change in your life.
