I really loved my therapist I had through AYC. However, their billing department was so hard to work with. They overcharged me at least 5 times, if not more. There were several occasions where my insurance said I did not owe anything, and AYC charged me anyway before my insurance finished finalizing the claim. They also charged me other occasions for double the cost of my session, taking $300 out of my account without warning. I always got refunds on these occasions, but it took numerous phone calls, emails, and voicemails to get that to happen. My insurance renews in July every year, and despite my reminders, they forgot and charged me full amounts in January, as they assumed my deductible was no longer met. I loved my therapist from this practice, but unfortunately the billing department really made my experience with this practice incredibly frustrating.
