Highly recommend Dr. Chan! He is an amazing clinician. Ive seen many psychologists and analysts in my life and he is by far the best. Deep, practical, compassionate, very smart and wise. I feel very fortunate to have found him.

Dr. Chan demonstrates an exceptional depth of knowledge in the biological foundations of behavior, conveying complex neurobiological concepts with clarity and precision. His mastery of the material is evident not only in his understanding of neuroscience and brain–behavior relationships, but also in his ability to integrate current research and clinical relevance into each topic. What truly distinguishes Dr. Chan as an educator is his genuine passion for the subject. This enthusiasm fosters intellectual curiosity and encourages others to think critically about the material and how it applies to patients. Dr. Chan consistently invites deeper reflection on the philosophical implications of neuroscience, including questions surrounding free will, consciousness, identity, and the mind–brain relationship. He thoughtfully connects biological mechanisms to broader philosophical and ethical considerations, Dr. Chan creates a learning environment that is both scientifically rigorous and intellectually enriching. This approach deepened my understanding of behavior while emphasizing the profound implications neuroscience holds for how we understand ourselves and the human experience. Wonderful professor and neuropsychologist!
