I highly recommend Alan Behrman & Associates. I've been working with Dr. Alan for the past 2 months and after decades in and out of therapy, I can genuinely and confidently say he's the first therapist to make a difference in my life and give me hope that there's a path forward for me in areas of my life that 2 months ago I was sure did not exist. As a bonus, I was distraught when I learned my psychiatrist was leaving my insurance network. He has a psychiatrist, Dr. Ram, on staff which was a huge relief. I will leave Dr. Ram a separate review if possible, but will share since he's part of the practice I'm praising that I saw him recently and after decades of seeing different psychiatrists, he if the first to REALLY listen to me and take a patient-centric approach to my treatment. He's the first psychiatrist to go medication by medication with me and share which he'd prefer to see me replace with what he deems better options - YET he didn't make a single change. He told me he'd like to get to know me better before recommending alternatives that are better suited for long-term use. I have NEVER had a new psychiatrist NOT try to immediately change a medication to something they personally "prefer" right away, even when I've been relatively stable. I can't speak for any of the other practitioners in Dr. Behrman's practice other than him and Dr. Ram, but I can't imagine that others aren't as professional and thorough as my treatment team. I highly recommend them!

Highly recommend Alan Berman! I spent some time with him today and really loved him warm and genuine spirit. I will continue to refer clients to him!
