I have never been here but was seriously considering this office for my daughter, after seeing the horrendous way patients are billed, I will STAY FAR AWAY, reviews usually tell the real story.

Their testing process was very expensive but good for getting the diagnosis. The provider is very nice...but how nice can you be will shady- really untruthful- billing. I am a licensed therapist and understanding mental health coding process well....i also know correct and incorrect practices. Please be aware that this provider bills multiple codes to your insurance for each visit which cranks up the cost. Be aware you will be billed for a medical decision appointment (aka a med check) and for a 16 minute or more psychotherapy session together (the shortest length you can count therapy). This costs way more than any med check will cost you at your doctor or with a general psychiatrist. If you appointment bill has these two or three codes and was not at least 46 minutes long or meeting the coding time frames then you were over billed. (Also, its impossible to get an itemized bill from them because they use a third party for the administrative part of the billing...not the codes though...those come from providers ONLY.) Lastly, if you did not feel you received "counseling" but that you were just talking pros and cons of meds and symptoms with a doctor, then you did not actually receive "counseling" but you may have been charged for that short "psychotherapy" session. Again, I am a licensed psychotherapist and I can say for certain that my child has not received psychotherapy in our appointments (because I know what psychotherapy looks like and I know the difference between that and a medical conversation with just basic and good patient care) but we have been consistently billed for it. Our appointments have not been 46 minutes for the required time length for the multiple codes either. This type of shady billing is actually and sadly all too common so please be aware of your bills and statements folks. I am not usually a negative reviewer and not one of those complaining on every social media networking cite but this is egregious billing and cost and I would avoid it if you can. The people who comment on billing below may not have understood all this but you have been warned.
