You’re capable and motivated, but somehow you’re always running a little late, putting things off till the last minute, feeling scattered and random, or worrying there’s something important you’ve forgotten. Maybe you’re juggling college or work, relationships, family, caregiving—or all of the above—and constantly feel like you’re trying to catch up. Sometimes the hardest part is wondering, Why is this so much harder for me than it seems to be for everyone else? I’m Christi Kersten, an LPC who helps people understand how their brains actually work and find ways to make life work better with them, rather than constantly fighting against them. I’m also a neurodivergent adult who was diagnosed later in life, so ADHD has never been just a clinical concept for me. I know the frustration of trying harder and harder when “try harder” was never really the answer. My approach is about figuring out what works for you—your strengths, your natural ways of coping, and the strategies that actually fit your brain and your life—so you can work smarter, not harder.
